What we collect
When you submit our contact form, we collect what you enter directly: your name, email, company, phone number, country, the service you're enquiring about, project timeline, budget range, and your message. We also automatically log the timestamp and IP address of the submission, which helps us prevent spam and abuse.
We do not use cookies or tracking of any kind for people who only browse the site without submitting the form or accepting cookies — see "Cookies & third-party services" below for what's used if you do consent.
How we use it
We use contact form data solely to respond to your enquiry, evaluate whether we're a good fit for your project, and, if we proceed, to deliver our services. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Where it's stored
Submissions are stored on our hosting server, in a directory that is not publicly accessible, and a copy is emailed to our project inbox. We retain enquiry data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and to keep basic business records, and delete it on request (see "Your rights" below).
Cookies & third-party services
We use Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand how visitors reach the site and to measure advertising performance. These are only activated after you accept cookies via the banner shown on your first visit — if you decline, these services do not set advertising or analytics cookies, and analytics run in a limited, cookieless mode where supported.
These providers may set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies: Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy.
If you click through to WhatsApp to chat with us, that conversation is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not this one.
Your rights
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw consent for future contact. Email ck@alphalinx.tech and we'll act on it within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or our data practices change. Material changes will update the "last updated" date above.
